All five Career Cities now have a skyline
Riviera, Ironcrest and Celestia join Aurelia and Neon Vale. Each one is meant to be recognisable from its architecture before you read the caption.
Aurelia and Neon Vale have been standing for a while — the entertainment capital and the nightlife metropolis, the two cities where most careers begin. The other three are now built, and the rule we set ourselves held: the architecture has to say which city you are in before the caption does.
Riviera
Sun-bleached stucco and travertine, coral light cut into the cornices and marina rails, azure glow off the water. Resorts, yacht clubs and a grand marina. Riviera runs on Supply Lines — luxury is a logistics problem, and the coast is full of places a shipment can fail to arrive.
Ironcrest
Graphite mass, amber industrial light, cool white-blue behind the corporate glass, and a rail corridor drawing the line between the two halves. Ironcrest is Production: the city makes everything, and the fight is over who holds the facilities when the week ends.
Celestia
Pearl and white-gold architecture, iridescent violet lines along every parapet and sky-bridge, warm gold behind the glazing. It is deliberately unlike every city before it, because it is the last one. Celestia runs on Influence Zones — at the summit, owning a building isn’t enough.
Five cities, five signatures, one loop. Same actions; entirely different reasons to perform them.
